What is an overhead heater?
By Forinfos - 23/11/2025 - 0 comments
An overhead heater refers to a heating system that is placed overhead and generates radiant heat. Overhead heating systems typically generate infrared lights that can be either low or high-intensity. This type of heating system heats up the space from the floor level as it does not use heated air.
As of 2015, overhead heating can be set in either a box of radiant tubing or as strips of heating elements embedded into the ceiling. Radiant heating mimics the behavior of the sun and heats up objects and people inside a space rather than the air around it. This reduces the amount of heat that can escape when a door or window is opened.
