These original equipment manufacturer brands are sold in-house at over 500 Harbor Freight retail locations throughout the United States.

Harbor Freight Tools was founded in 1977 as a small family-owned mail-order tool distributor business by son and father Eric and Allan Smidt. Eric serves as President and CEO of the company, which is headquartered in Calabasas, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Harbor Freight Tools sells over 7,000 different tools and accessories in retails stores or online via the company website.
