Oxygen bleach is a form of bleach that uses sodium perborate, sodium precarbonate or hydrogen peroxide to remove stains and whiten and brighten fabric. Oxygen bleach is safe for use on most washable fabrics and colors except for silk and wool.
Oxygen bleach can be added to the washing machine to pre-soak heavily stained laundry items or mixed with water and used as a spot cleaner. Oxygen bleach also removes stains on carpet and a variety of other household surfaces. When mixed into a paste, it effectively cleans tile and grout. Brand names of oxygen bleach include OxiClean and Clorox Oxi Magic.
