There are several symbols associated with the Mormon Church, including the Angel Moroni, temples, beehives and iron rods. Some of the most iconic symbols of the Mormon Church are golden plates from which Joseph Smith read the Book of Mormon to create the religion.

The Angel Moroni was originally used by Israelis as a gathering symbol and is now found on Mormon temples. Temples are a symbol of each Mormon's membership in the religion.

Brigham Young established the beehive as a symbol of industry. It is on the doorknobs of the temple in Salt Lake City and is on the Young Women Medallion. Iron rods represent persistence, devotion and endurance.
