What are some parts of a swimming pool pump?
By Forinfos - 30/03/2025 - 0 comments
A typical pool pump has an input, an output, a motor and an impeller. Although there are many different types and sizes of swimming pool pumps, every one shares a number of key components.
The input is where water enters the pump housing, and the output is where the water exits efficiently. A waterproof housing encloses a small motor, and the motor turns a metal or plastic impeller that creates the suction necessary for all parts of the pump to function. Depending on the model and application, the pump may also include the filtration system components, such as the strainer basket and filter media.
