What is a passing score on a truck driving written test?

To pass the Commercial Drivers License written test, drivers must score a minimum of 80 percent. To gain a CDL, drivers must also pass a practical skills test in a vehicle in the same category as the trucks they want to drive.

As of 2011, the FMCSA allows states to exempt military personal from the skills portion of the CDL test, providing that they have at least two years of prior experience driving vehicles similar to the ones they expect to drive.
