As of 2015, information about whether Pastor Michael Freeman was arrested and why are not known to the public. Freeman is the Founder and Pastor of Spirit of Faith Christian Center (SOFCC). SOFCC has two locations: Prince George's County and Howard County, Maryland.

Although information about his possible arrest is not known, there is some public information available about the pastor. Freeman is a fourth-generation pastor who focuses his ministry on the whole person, including the soul, body and spirit. His teachings emphasize faith, family, fellowship and finance. Freeman is married to DeeDee and has three children, as of 2015: Brittney, Joshua and Brelyn.
