Patricia Cornwell will publish the next book in the "Kay Scarpetta" series in the fall of 2015. It is titled "Depraved Heart" and will be published by William Morrow, an imprint of Harper Collins.

Cornwell published a "Kay Scarpetta" novel in November 2014. Its title is "Flesh and Blood," and it is the 22nd novel in the series. "Depraved Heart" is described as a psychological odyssey that will involve aircraft wreckage at the Bermuda Triangle and the death of a Hollywood executive's daughter. Although Cornwell's personal website lists the publishing date as June 30th, Harper Collins lists a November date.
