The original lead singer from Paul Revere and the Raiders was Mark Lindsay, who left the band in 1975. While several members of the band left, its namesake, Paul Revere Dick, who played the organ, stayed with the band. The group's first song was a 1963 cover of "Louie, Louie." The group had four top 10 hits in the 1960s.
