What does Advantage Multi do for dogs?

Advantage Multi is a flea preventative medicine that also helps to prevent heartworm infection and kills intestinal parasites. It is given to dogs once a month, just like traditional Advantage medication.

Advantage Multi is a prescription-strength medication for dogs that are at least three pounds and over seven weeks of age. It helps to control sarcoptic mange, kills adult fleas and flea eggs, treats circulating microfilariae and can control roundworms, whipworms and hookworms. Some dogs don't get it monthly, but instead seasonally in order to protect them from mosquitoes. It must be given within a week of exposure to mosquitoes in this case.
