How big do house geckos get?

House geckos grow to be 3 to 6 inches long. Like many small reptiles, they are shy and are easily stressed by handling, which should be avoided. Because of its size, a house gecko does best in a small 12-by-18-inch terrarium when contained.
House geckos are native to Southeast Asia and the Americas, where they commonly live outdoors near houses and other dwellings. When kept as pets, house geckos should be fed crickets dusted with supplemental calcium powder. They required a heat source, as they prefer an ambient temperature of 80 to 85 degrees and a basking temperature of 90 degrees.
