What is Smilin' Pitbull Rescue?

Smilin' Pitbull Rescue is a pit bull rescue group based in the northeastern United States. According to the founder, Eric Gray, the organization was inspired by his adoption of a pitbull at a kill shelter in upstate New York.

While the primary focus is the northeast U.S., SPBR rescues dogs from as far away as Louisiana and places canines into homes ranging from California to Nova Scotia. Anyone who wishes to provide a loving home to an animal in need may view a list of adoptable dogs at the SPBR website and fill out an online application. Each dog adopted through SPBR has his very own page for life on the site, which is updated as often as the pet owner submits pictures.
