The Philippine Daily Inquirer is a major English language newspaper based out of the city of Manila, Philippines. As of 2015, it is the most popular newspaper in the urban areas of the Philippines.

The majority of readers of the Philippine Daily Inquirer fall into the ABC1, which encompasses upper class, middle class and lower middle class readers. In the first quarter of 2015, a survey of newspaper readers found that just over 50 percent read the Philippine Daily Inquirer on a daily basis. The Inquirer covers national and international news stories, sports and entertainment. The paper also contributes to a number of charitable causes in the Philippines.
