What is a Pikachu car?

The Pikachu car was made by Toyota and Toyopet. The car itself is made to look like a Pikachu, an electric type Pokémon from the popular video game, TV series and movie franchise.

Toyopet created cars to resemble cute Pokémon characters, such as Pikachu, which is arguably the most popular Pokémon, as well as Oshawatt and Fennekin. The cars designed to resemble characters from "Pokémon" are used to attract viewers and are employed as marketing tools for upcoming "Pokémon" projects, such as new movies. So far, Toyopet Pokémon cars have only been displayed at shows and exhibitions rather than on the road.
