Plasticity is a noun that refers to the quality or state of being plastic or the capability to be molded into a certain form. This word originated between the years 1775 and 1785.
This word also refers to the capacity something has to be developed. Plasticity applies to substances such as clay or wax. One example of this word used in a sentence is "The plasticity of the clay allowed the artist to sculpt it into the shape of an elegant female body." Another example is "Water does not feature the quality of plasticity and cannot be molded into a definitive shape."
