How do you play multiplayer mode on LEGO City Undercover?

LEGO City Undercover for Nintendo Wii and 3DS is a single-player game that does not have a multiplayer mode. The games on the LEGO City website are also designed only for one player.

In LEGO City Undercover, the single player operates Chase McCain, a detective fighting crime, and the villain RexFury in LEGO City. The player is given a series of missions centered around solving puzzles and finding lost items throughout the 20 unique districts in the city. The player can cruise through the city in many vehicles, including helicopters, cars and speedboats. LEGO City Undercover is rated appropriate for gamers age 10-years-old and older.
