As of 2014, Yogi Berra has won more World Series rings than any player in the history of the game. The catcher/outfielder won 10 rings during his career with the New York Yankees from 1946-1965.
Berra helped the Yankees to titles in 1947, 1949-1953, 1956, 1958, 1961 and 1962, before his induction into Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1972. Fellow Yankee Joe DiMaggio is in second place with nine rings won, while Bill Dickey, Phil Rizzuto, Frankie Crosetti and Lou Gehrig all spent parts of eight seasons on World Series-winning Yankee teams. Entering the 2014 season, Derek Jeter, another Yankee, leads all active players with five World Series rings.
