Where do players get Pikachu in "Pokemon X"?

Pikachu can be found in "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" in Santalune Forest and Route 3. Pikachu can also be found in the electric Friend Safari.

Santalune Forest is located in southern Kalos. It is south of Route 3, putting both locations right next to each other. The Friend Safari becomes available once the player has entered the Hall of Fame. Each Friend Safari is attached to a Friend Code and is assigned a specific type, such as grass, electric, fire or any other type in the game. Only the electric type can have a chance of containing a Pikachu. The perks of capturing a Pokémon in a Friend Safari include higher chances of the Pokémon having its hidden ability and being shiny.
