Jeffrey Dean Morgan played the character Denny in "Grey's Anatomy." He first appeared in 13th episode of the second season. He is credited in a total of 23 episodes, ending with the fifth season's finale.

Morgan played a heart patient who develops a romantic relationship with Katherine Heigl's character. He featured prominently in a roughly two-season arc. Morgan has appeared in numerous films and television shows. He also had reoccurring roles on "Supernatural," "Magic City" and "The Good Wife." On Nov. 10, 2015, it was announced that he would play the primary villain in the seventh season of the AMC drama "Walking Dead."
