Does Pluto have gravity?
By Forinfos - 28/01/2026 - 0 comments
Everything that has mass exerts a gravitational pull, no matter how small. Even though Pluto is much smaller than Earth and most other objects in our solar system, it still exerts a gravitational pull.
Pluto has a surface gravity approximately 1/12th of Earth's, according to the California Institute of Technology. In other words, an object that weighs 50 pounds on Earth would weigh 4 pounds on Pluto. It's important to understand that weight isn't the same as mass. Mass is a constant, whereas weight is a function of gravity. Objects with more mass usually have more gravity as a result.
