Does Pluto have any rings?

Although astronomers have not observed any rings on Pluto, some scientists believe that Pluto may have rings due to the low gravitational pull of its two moons. NASA’s New Horizons mission may provide further information on the existence of rings around Pluto.

Because Pluto's two tiny moons have such low gravity, some scientists speculate that the dust kicked up by any micrometeoroid impacts on the moons may be pulled towards Pluto rather than back down towards the surface of the moons. If enough material begins to drift around Pluto, it may create rings.This process is how Jupiter and Saturn attracted their rings.
