Police sunglasses are produced by Italian fashion manufacturer Police. Founded in 1983, the company initially focused exclusively on eyewear but has since expanded its product range to include watches, perfume, clothing and leather goods.

Police sunglasses have been advertised by a number of leading celebrities, including George Clooney, Bruce Willis and soccer player David Beckham. Police sunglasses and fashion accessories are marketed to both men and women, and the company defines itself as a “lifestyle brand.” In 2011, Police relaunched its range of sunglasses featuring distinctive blue mirror lenses with aviator frames, a style that had been especially popular during the 1980s.
