The most popular Hong Kong Television Network drama in 2014 was "The Election," which was launched on Nov. 19 and follows Yip Ching as she runs for Hong Kong's chief executive. The show is about political activity that was taking place at the end of 2014 with Hong Kong citizens.

Another very popular HKTV show in 2014 was "The Borderline aka Police Boundaries," a police drama. The first episode was launched on YouTube in June 2013, but further episodes did not begin airing until HKTV officially launched on Nov. 19, 2014. The third most popular show was "The Menu," a drama that follows three reporters who work for an independent newspaper in Hong Kong.
