What are some popular traveling museums?

Artrain USA is a traveling art museum in five cars. It visits universities and cultural centers throughout the nation to, "Deliver discovery and - through the power of arts and culture - transform lives, organizations and communities," according to its mission statement.

The Association of Science - Technology Centers organizes hands-on exhibits that travel to different science centers and museums. The Grossology tour is another travelling hands-on science experience geared toward children. It visits science centers and museums, in addition to schools, and presents science exhibits related to the books by Sylvia Carol Branzei-Velasquez.

The Discovery Museum in Massachusetts provides Traveling Science Workshops. These hands-on presentations take place right in the classroom and are led by enthusiastic educators. The classroom teacher also receives supplementary lesson plan material.
