Is it possible to mix scotch and Coca-Cola?

Scotch whisky and Coca-Cola is a variation of a popular mixed drink. While scotch is typically perceived as something that must be consumed on its own, with perhaps an ice cube or two or a bit of water, drinkers are increasingly opting to mix their scotch with the fizzy soft drink.

Coca-Cola and some type of liquor is an extremely popular mixed drink, with liquor pairings, such as light rum, dark rum, whisky or brandy. Many of the major scotch producers have been advocating for scotch as a good mixer in soft drinks in order to appeal to a younger market.
