Is it possible to print a W-9 tax form for free?

The Internal Revenue Service's website allows free printing of W-9 tax forms. A link to the current year's W-9 form is on the home page of the IRS website, and users can use search tools on the Forms & Pubs tab of IRS.gov to find prior year W-9 forms.

Taxpayers use W-9 forms when they need to provide their correct taxpayer identification numbers to entities or people who need to file information returns with the IRS. These entities use the taxpayer identification numbers to report income paid, real estate transactions or mortgage interest paid to the taxpayers, explains the IRS.
