A common form of post-sales support provided by many Nissan dealerships is a warranty on their new vehicles. The warranty generally includes repair coverage on the vehicle for a certain amount of miles, at which the consumer is not obliged to pay.
All new Nissan vehicle have a standard 36,000-mile, 3-year warranty. This warranty covers any defects accrued on the chassis of the vehicle, that is not owner related. All vehicles are also issued with a 5-year, 60,000 mile warranty, which applies to the internal components of the engine. Any issues that occur on the vehicle during the warranty period are covered by the dealerships service center.
