How do you pray for a sick person?

Praying for a sick person entails asking God to bring healing to that individual or to give the sick person the strength to bear the illness courageously. The person offering the prayer should have a peaceful confidence in God's love and power.

The ability to pray for a sick individual does not mean that the person offering the prayer has the power to change God's mind. God wants people to ask his healing and strength before answers the prayer. In the Bible, Jesus illustrated this fact by healing many of the sick people who asked for his mercy and help.
