In Christmas Bingo, players shuffle the pre-cut deck of cards and turn all 24 of them upside down. They then select the top card and call out the letter and name printed on the card. Each player lays a piece of candy on that space if it is present on the card. The first player to have five pieces of candy in a diagonal, horizontal or vertical line calls out "Bingo" for everyone to hear, alerting the participants that there is a potential winner.
