What is the procedure to reset a Wi-Fi router?
By Forinfos - 17/11/2025 - 0 comments
The method to reset a Wi-Fi router can vary based on the particular model, but generally it can be done by locating and pressing the reset button located on the back of the router. A small tool or pin is required to reach the button.
The reset button must be held down for 10 seconds in order for the reset to take place. It is usually clear when a reset has occurred by the operating lights on the front of the router turning solid or blinking. Once this occurs, let go of the reset button and allow the router to boot up normally. Once the router has been reset, all previous information such as fire wall setting and router usernames are restored to the factory default.
