What is programmed learning?
By Forinfos - 23/04/2026 - 0 comments
Programmed learning is the process in which a learner is presented with a small bit of information and asked to analyze the information and answer questions to ensure understanding. Once the chunk of information is mastered, the learner then proceeds to the next bit of information.
The process of programmed learning relies on self-pacing, small steps and instant feedback from the instructor or teacher. If a learner is unable to answer questions about the current lesson, the information is reviewed until the learner can demonstrate understanding or mastery before continuing to the next phase of information. This style of learning is used in self-teaching books and business management education.
