Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane, Molly Parker, Jim Beaver and W. Earl Brown are some prominent cast members on HBO's “Deadwood.” An American western TV series, “Deadwood” is set in Deadwood, South Dakota, in the 1870s. The series had a large ensemble cast appearing as historical figures.

“Deadwood” revolves around the transformation of Deadwood from a camp to a town, covering numerous themes from community formation to western capitalism. Along with creating and producing the show, David Milch also wrote majority of the show. The series had a total of 36 episodes across three seasons and aired on HBO from March 21, 2004, to August 27, 2006. The show won a Golden Globe and eight Emmy Awards.
