Who publishes a free basic resume template?

Selections of free basic resume templates are available from TidyForm.com and PrimerMagazine.com. While the templates provided by Primer Magazine are only available in Microsoft Word format, Tidy Form offers templates in Word and Adobe PDF formats.

Resumes should begin with a header that includes the candidate's name and contact information. This may be followed by an objective or statement of purpose in which the candidate briefly states job expectations. Next, the resume generally includes several larger sections in which the candidate lists relevant work experience, education and awards or honors. As a general rule, resumes should not be longer than one printed page.
