What is the purpose of an interview?
By Forinfos - 23/03/2025 - 0 comments
The purpose of an interview is to allow a hiring manager or employment committee to evaluate the qualities of an applicant in a personal setting. During an interview, the hiring manager asks questions and evaluates the responses and demeanor of the applicant in giving them.
The ultimate goal of an interview is to discern whether or not a given candidate is an ideal match for the company and the job. The interview is a more involved assessment of a candidate's qualities and experiences than an application or simple resume evaluation. By interviewing applicants, the company improves the chances of making a good hire and minimizes turnover risks.
