What is the purpose of a quick lift jack?

The QuickJack lift is used to raise a car up to 2 feet above ground in only a couple of seconds. This is useful in situations where time matters, such as racing.

The QuickJack is also portable, making it a useful all-purpose jack to carry in a trunk when not racing. As of 2015, Ranger Products makes three different QuickJack products, and customers can choose a 110-volt AC plug or a 12-volt DC plug. One BL-3500 can support cars up to 3,500 pounds, while the BL-5000 and BL-5000XL can both support up to 5,000 pounds. QuickJack also makes short and tall rubber blocks to increase jack height, as well as SUV and light truck conversion kits.
