Quaker has an easy oatmeal cookie recipe available on its website. The recipe requires oats, butter, sugar, brown sugar and flour. It also requires eggs, vanilla, baking soda and a number of spices.

To make Quaker oatmeal cookies, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Beat 2 1/2 sticks of butter with 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup sugar. Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Combine the mixture with 1 1/2 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Bake eight to 11 minutes, longer for a crispier cookie and shorter for a chewier cookie.
