What qualifications should a licensed boiler inspector have?
By Forinfos - 27/04/2025 - 0 comments
A qualified licensed boiler inspector must have a high school diploma. In addition, the National Board of Pressure and Vessel Inspectors requires additional education. It can be accomplished through the National Board In-service Inspector Training Program or a combination of higher education and approved inspector technology classes, as of 2015.
Educational credit is given to anyone who has completed engineering or quality control classes. Work experience as a quality control manager or a Level II examiner is also an acceptable means for gaining credit towards certification. The last necessary step for qualification entails a passing score with a grade of 70 percent or higher on the board exam.
