Hohn had difficulty finding quilting patterns online, and The Quilter's Cache was her solution. Hohn creates the quilting patterns available on the website herself, and her husband uploads them. Since its inception, the site has grown to include a newsletter, an online store and plans for a book. Hohn offers the how-to pages and patterns for free and profits off advertisements and sales in the store.
