What race was Jesus?

Jesus' exact race is unknown. There are many theories about this, but no proof exists to back up any one in particular. The most common theory is that he was Middle Eastern, as he was born in a traditionally Arab area.

Jesus is traditionally depicted with olive-colored skin and long brown hair. This is the Middle Eastern theory. Other historians believe that Jesus was European, because 90 percent of Christians at the time were European. Some people believe that Jesus was actually African American, as there is a theory that he lived in Egypt when he was a child, and Ethiopian Christianity has always depicted him with black skin.
