How do you read a thermometer?
By Forinfos - 09/06/2025 - 0 comments
To read a thermometer, keep the thermometer in a vertical position so the liquid in the tube is upright. Keep eyes level with the top of the liquid in the tube. Avoid over-handling the thermometer as heat from another object may affect the reading.
Thermometers measure the temperature in a surrounding environment. They usually are partitioned in degree increment of two. Temperatures may be measured in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Thermometers are used in many settings by a variety of professionals including farmers, who use them to determine if temperatures are suitable for plants, and chefs, who utilize them in cooking.
