Are there any recalls on the Chevy Malibu?

General Motors, the manufacturer of Chevrolet cars, has recalled the Chevy Malibu several times in the past years. The latest recall was in March 2015, when GM recalled more than 87,000 2013-2015 Chevy Malibu sedans equipped with power-operated sunroofs to fix the power controls.

The Chevy Malibu, a mid-size car manufactured and marketed by GM starting in 1964, has a recall order every year during the past 10 years as of 2015. The most common type of issues found by GM and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are defects in electrical wiring and problems with external lighting, electronic stability control and steering.
