To receive a Social Security statement by mail, fill out a Form SSA-7004, Request For Social Security Statement, and mail it to the address provided on the form, according to the Social Security Administration's website. The statement normally arrives in four to six weeks.

In September 2014, the Social Security Administration began mailing statements to workers attaining ages 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 and over, who are not receiving benefits and do not have a my Social Security account, states the Social Security Administration. The agency mails statements three months prior to a worker's birthday. Individuals can request statements online through the Social Security Administration's website.
