What is a Red Siberian Husky?
By Forinfos - 26/03/2025 - 0 comments
Red Siberian huskies are huskies that carry a recessive gene for reddish coloring from both parents, as opposed to the dominant gene for black pigmentation. The red coloring may range from a pale orange shade to a deep chocolate.
The basic colors of Siberian Huskies are black, red and white. These colors can be modified by genes that dilute the coat color or restrict expression of color to one part of the dog's body. The merle pattern, which causes the coat to be mottled with patches of color, is not permissible for the show ring. All other colors and patterns are eligible.
