How do you refresh a browser?
By Forinfos - 21/04/2026 - 0 comments
To refresh a browser, click the "Refresh" button next to the address bar, or press "F5." For a hard refresh, which will reload all elements of the page being viewed, hold down Shift+F5. To force a refresh, for example, where the browser screen has frozen, press Ctrl+F5.
For Mac users, press Command + R to force a refresh. This can increase the speed of a user's browsing activity by clearing out cache memory, no matter whether using a Mac or a PC device. Google Chrome users can go one step further, with the option to Disable Cache, reducing the need for hard and forced refreshing overall.
