How do you remove apps?

To delete applications on your phone, open Settings, click Manage Applications, tap the application you want to delete, then click Uninstall. Since the instructions for deleting applications vary depending on the operating system of the particular device, this process is recommended for Android users. It takes less than a minute.

1. Go to Settings

   To open Settings, click the gearwheel icon on the main menu of your phone. Under Settings, go to the Applications menu, then tap Manage Applications to open a list of installed applications.

2. Locate the application you want to delete

   Check the list of installed applications available under the Manage Applications menu, then tap the one you want to remove from your phone. Click the Uninstall button to remove the selected application. Avoid pressing other keys on your phone as the selected application is being removed. After the application has been removed, click OK to exit the page, then go back to the main menu.

3. Confirm that the application has been removed

   On the main menu, check the previous location of the application that you have just removed from your phone. When an application has been successfully removed from an Android phone, it does not appear on the menu.
