How do you remove a page break?

In Microsoft Word, remove a page break by putting the document in draft mode. Then, highlight and delete the page break. Automatic page breaks cannot be deleted.

1. Put the document into draft mode

   When working with Word 2010, click View, then click on Draft. This highlights the formatting in your document.

2. Locate the unwanted page break

   The page breaks are displayed as horizontal dotted lines with the words "Page Break" in the middle. Place your cursor on a dotted line, and left-click your mouse.

3. Delete the unwanted page break

   Press delete to remove the unwanted break. The document automatically reformats to reflect the change.
