To remove dry skin from your feet, soak your feet in an Epsom salt bath for 20 minutes, and then exfoliate the skin with an Epsom salt and oil paste. You will need a foot tub, a towel, Epsom salt, warm water, bath oil or olive oil, and lotion.
- Make a foot bath
Pour warm water into a foot tub, and add 1/2 cup Epsom salt. Place the foot tub on a towel on the floor to catch spills. Stir the water until the salt dissolves.
- Make an exfoliating scrub
Mix 1/2 cup Epsom salt with 2 tablespoons bath oil or olive oil. Stir the mixture until a paste forms. Add more Epsom salt to thicken the paste or more oil to make a thinner paste.
- Soak your feet
Put the exfoliating scrub next to the foot bath, and soak your feet in the foot bath for 20 minutes. Soaking your feet softens the dead skin and makes it easier to remove.
- Exfoliate with the foot scrub
Massage one foot with the exfoliating scrub for three minutes, and then massage the other foot. Wash off the remaining Epsom salt with running water, thoroughly dry your feet, and apply a moisturizing lotion.
