How do you remove E6000 glue?

Uncured E6000 glue may be removed with a little naphtha or acetone. Cutting or scraping can remove cured adhesive. Curing takes between 24 and 72 hours.
E6000 gets tacky in about two minutes and starts to set in about 10 minutes. The drying time may depend on humidity and temperature. A handheld dryer may be used to speed up drying. Dried E6000 has a consistency similar to rubber. It is flexible and moves with anything it adheres to. It is washer- and dryer-safe, but dry-cleaning solvents may disintegrate the cured glue. Clear E6000 should not be used on polyethylene, polystyrene or polypropylene plastics.
