How do I remove epoxy glue from my skin?

Epoxy glue can be removed from the skin by applying vinegar, acetone or a hand sanitizer made with citrus extract. When using chemicals like acetone, always work in a well-ventilated area to prevent respiratory injuries.

Epoxy exposure can cause contact dermatitis in some cases, so visit a doctor if the skin experiences a reaction.

  1. Soak the skin in a cleaning agent

    2. To remove epoxy from the skin, soak the affected area with acetone, distilled white vinegar or hand sanitizer. When the epoxy begins to soften, it can be removed with fingernails or with a rubber scraper.

  2. Wash the area

    3. Once the epoxy is removed, wash the area thoroughly. If any epoxy remains, repeat the process.
