To remove gel polish, use a Red Carpet Remove Gel Polish Removal Kit and carefully follow the instructions. All the contents are necessary, along with cuticle oil and polish remover pads, which are not included in the kit.
- Break the top coat
Break the top coat by using the provided buffer to buff each nail gently until the shine is gone.
- Soak the pads in the remover
Soak the polish remover pads in the RCM gel polish remover included in the kit. If performing this task one nail at a time, only soak one pad. Otherwise, soak a pad for each nail.
- Wrap the nails in foil wraps
Wrap nails and the polish remover pads in the foil wraps provided with the kit. If doing only one nail at a time, wrap that nail. Leave the nails, or nail, wrapped for 10 minutes minimum, but up to 20 minutes for better results.
- Remove the foil wraps and any remaining gel
Remove the foil wraps and pads, and discard. Remove any remaining gel polish using the two orange wood sticks that come with the kit.
- Buff the surfaces of the nails
Once again, use the provided buffer to buff the fingernails gently.
- Use cuticle oil
Gently massage cuticle oil on the nails and skin around the nails.
